Home 1st Physiotherapy provides individualised physiotherapy programmes for adults within their own homes. As an HCPC registered physiotherapist and member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the practice offers a comprehensive range of treatments designed to address pain, improve mobility, and support long-term health and wellbeing.
Services include general physiotherapy with manual therapy techniques, soft tissue work, and tailored exercise programmes to reduce pain and restore function. Neurological physiotherapy covers stroke rehabilitation and management of long-term neurological conditions, while respiratory physiotherapy supports individuals with conditions including COPD, bronchiectasis, chronic asthma, and cystic fibrosis. The practice also provides rehabilitation programmes for acute COVID-19 and long COVID in accordance with Chartered Society of Physiotherapy community standards.
Specialised assessments include balance and falls risk evaluation to identify factors that may increase fall risk, and comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for older adults designed to support fitness, activity, and health into later years. Medical and birth trauma therapy is also available.
