About Hayabusado Karate

Hayabusado Karate teaches traditional Shotokan Karate to the highest standards, offering karate classes and aerobics for all ages and abilities. The qualified instructors bring many years' experience of teaching students across all grades, creating a welcoming environment whether you're just starting out or progressing through the ranks.

Training covers the core disciplines of kata and kumite, with kata used as a key conditioning tool and kumite focusing on accurate offence and effective defence. Gradings are held every three months, giving students regular opportunities to progress and test their skills. For those interested in competitive karate, Hayabusado provides opportunities to attend and compete in local, national and international competitions.

Hayabusado is a member of both the Japan Karate Association (JKA) and the United Kingdom Traditional Karate Federation (UKTKF), reflecting its commitment to authentic traditional karate practice.
