Hallam Treatment Rooms is an HCPC-registered podiatry practice led by Suzanne Hallam and Fran Higham, both Members of the Royal College of Podiatry. The team provides comprehensive foot and lower limb care for a wide range of conditions and concerns.
General podiatry treatments include removal of hard skin, corns and calluses using skilled scalpel work, as well as nail repair and care. For fungal nails, thickened nails can be thinned down to improve both appearance and comfort. The practice also treats ingrowing toenails conservatively, removing the part of the nail that has pierced the skin, and offers nail surgery as a permanent solution to ingrowing toenails and other painful nail conditions.
Biomechanical assessment evaluates how your foot and lower limb function, with treatment potentially including prescribed stretching and strengthening exercises or custom insole and orthotic devices to address underlying issues. The practice also provides specialist foot health screening for people with diabetes, including comprehensive assessment of neurological and vascular supply to the lower limb.
