About GTSD Martial Arts
GTSD Martial Arts is a family-friendly martial arts school offering Tang Soo Do classes for all ages. From Tiger Tots aged 4–6 through to adults and advanced students, the school helps build confidence, coordination and discipline whilst creating a fun, positive environment.
Tang Soo Do is a traditional South Korean martial art focusing on kicking, forms and discipline. GTSD is part of the Traditional Tang Soo Do Federation and has supported 35 students to first degree black belt or higher over more than 11 years. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to progress your skills, GTSD welcomes new members and treats everyone like family.

What age groups do you teach?
We offer classes for everyone, from Tiger Tots aged 4–6 years, through Dragons aged 7–13, to Adults aged 13 and above, plus Advanced classes for those 13+. Our full-time centre allows us to run various classes tailored to different ages and abilities.
What is Tang Soo Do?
Tang Soo Do is a South Korean martial art created by Grand Master Hwang Kee in 1945, focusing on kicking, forms and discipline. We teach this traditional style in a family-friendly environment to help build confidence, co-ordination, discipline and much more, all whilst having fun.
How long has GTSD been running?
Gwent Tang Soo Do has been running for over 11 years. We are part of the Traditional Tang Soo Do Federation and have presented 35 students to first degree black belt or higher during that time.
