About George Berguno
George Berguno is a counsellor and therapist offering a confidential space to explore the thoughts, feelings and challenges in your life. As an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a full member of the BPS Special Group for Independent Practitioners, George brings professional expertise to a range of therapeutic concerns.
George works with anxiety, stress and the emotional impact of difficult life events. He has developed a particular set of skills in working with obsessions and compulsions, and supports people navigating trauma and its consequences. He also offers couples counselling for those experiencing relationship difficulties, and bereavement counselling for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one—whether through widowhood, the death of a parent, or other significant losses.
Beyond these core areas, George can help if your difficulties are related to work, or if you're coping with the effects of abuse, neglect or bullying. He works with people facing low self-esteem, lack of confidence, and the stress that can accompany major life transitions.
George offers a thoughtful, regulated approach to counselling, drawing on his professional standing within the psychological community to provide support tailored to your individual needs.
