About Gemma Ransome
Gemma Ransome is a registered paediatric dietitian and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered specialist in children's nutrition. She is a member of the British Dietetic Association and the Paediatric and ARFID specialist group, bringing expert knowledge to complex feeding and dietary challenges in childhood.
Gemma offers one-to-one dietetic consultations available both in person and virtually. She specialises in supporting picky and selective eaters with an extended 90-minute appointment package designed to address eating difficulties comprehensively. Her expertise extends to food allergy and food intolerance management, nutritional assessment and analysis, and tailored dietary planning for children with specific needs.
She is trained in the SOS approach to feeding therapy and has postgraduate training in breastfeeding and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). This specialist knowledge allows her to support children with faltering growth, weight management concerns, and food hypersensitivity. Each appointment includes a thorough assessment of your child's growth and nutritional status, followed by an individually tailored dietary plan. Food exposure sessions are also available on request.
