About Gateways Psychotherapy
Gateways Psychotherapy offers individual and couples counselling and psychotherapy for adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and personal growth. Individual psychotherapy is often entered because of a critical moment or event, and the practice specialises in both longer-term exploratory work and short-term, focused therapy. Couples counselling and psychotherapy has been a large part of the work from the outset, supporting partners through periods of difficulty and change.
The practice takes an analytical approach to therapy, drawing on psychodynamic and psychoanalytic traditions. The therapist is regulated by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), the Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis (CPJA), and holds fellowship status with the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC). They are also a Senior Associate of the Royal Society of Medicine.
Gateways Psychotherapy also offers ADHD coaching and psychoanalysis for those seeking deeper, longer-term therapeutic exploration. The practice welcomes clients at different stages of their therapeutic journey, whether beginning therapy for the first time or continuing established work.
This is a practice rooted in professional integrity, clinical experience, and a commitment to creating a safe, confidential space for meaningful change.
