About Frances Watkins
Frances Watkins is a medical herbalist, Reiki practitioner and colour therapy specialist offering holistic support for mind, body and soul. She holds practising membership with both the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy, and will become a Fellow of NIMH in 2025.
Frances provides Western herbal medicine consultations tailored to the individual. Her approach uses plant-based medicines prepared in various forms—dried herbs and powders as infusions and decoctions, herbal tinctures, and handmade creams and lotions—to support your health naturally. She also offers herbal prescriptions to complement your treatment plan.
Beyond herbal medicine, Frances draws on Reiki and colour therapy to address wellbeing holistically. She works with clients experiencing medical and birth trauma, bringing a compassionate, integrated approach to healing.
Frances is also an educator and community contributor. During summer months she leads herbal workshops and herb walks, and gives talks about herbal medicine and herbal history to local gardening and interest groups, sharing her knowledge with those keen to learn more about plants and natural health.
