About Family & Couples Therapy
Family & Couples Therapy offers counselling and psychotherapy delivered by experienced clinicians, with a particular specialism in supporting Persian-speaking clients in their mother tongue. The practice draws from multiple evidence-based therapeutic approaches including psychodynamic, humanistic, person-centred, existential, and cognitive behavioural therapy models, tailoring treatment to individual and relational needs.
Services include couples counselling and family and systemic therapy, with up to 10 weekly sessions of 50 minutes each for couples and families. Individual clients can access up to 12 weekly sessions of 50 minutes. The practice also offers emotionally focused therapy to build empathy and connection, and systemic and relational therapy to explore family patterns, roles, and relationship dynamics.
Beyond one-to-one work, Family & Couples Therapy hosts regular community activities designed to support emotional wellbeing and connection. These include art therapy workshops, yoga classes, mindfulness webinars, creative writing sessions, reading groups, and support circles. These complementary offerings create space for reflection, creative expression, and peer support alongside formal therapy.
Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, family dynamics, or personal difficulties, Family & Couples Therapy provides a warm, professional environment grounded in relational understanding and evidence-based practice.
