About Exeter Shotokan Karate Club
Exeter Shotokan Karate Club has been teaching karate since 1966, building a proud history in the martial art of Shotokan karate and guiding many students to black belt status. The club is affiliated with the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB).
The club offers regular beginner courses including Karate Tiger classes for children aged 5 to 10, as well as teenager and adult classes. Weekly classes are available for all members, with separate sessions for different skill levels and age groups. For those progressing in their training, advanced and junior classes provide continued development, and members have access to local and national competition opportunities through dedicated squad training.

Do you offer advanced training?
Yes, we run advanced classes for adults and juniors on Monday evenings from 7:00–8:30pm, and we also offer squad sessions for competitive training opportunities.
