About Essex Therapy
Essex Therapy offers counselling and psychotherapy for adults, young people, families, and couples navigating a range of challenges. With 25 years of counselling expertise, the practice provides general counselling sessions alongside specialist support for anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, trauma, anger management, and stress.
The team brings a blended, integrative approach to therapy. Specialist training includes post-qualification work with Relate in couples therapy, focusing on relationship building and communication, as well as experience in play therapy, workplace counselling, and support for women's issues. Family and systemic therapy is also available, helping families work through difficulties together.
Essex Therapy is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), ensuring professional standards and data protection compliance.
Appointments are offered face-to-face in a confidential space, with bespoke wellbeing packages tailored to individual needs. The practice also provides clinical supervision to counsellors at all stages of their career, from newly qualifying to experienced practitioners.
