About Emily McArthur
Emily McArthur is an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) since 2016 and accredited with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) since 2018. She provides face-to-face, online and telephone counselling for adults and young people aged 18+, offering a flexible approach to suit your needs.
Emily works with a wide range of mental health and wellbeing issues, including anxiety, depression and stress in work or personal life. She has completed specialist training in bereavement and loss, bringing depth to her support for those navigating grief. Her training in trauma therapy, including Rewind Trauma Therapy, enables her to work sensitively with trauma-related concerns.
In addition to her counselling practice, Emily qualified as a clinical supervisor in May 2022 and provides supervision to student, newly qualified and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists. This dual expertise means she brings both direct therapeutic experience and reflective practice to her work.
