About Elise Wardle
Elise Wardle is an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist with training in counselling and psychotherapy dating back to 1994. She holds an MA (Distinction) in Jungian Psychotherapy and Analytical Psychology from Middlesex University, and is a professional member of both The Institute of Psychedelic Therapy and The Independent Practitioners Network, as well as registered with the UK Register of Independent Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
Elise offers general counselling and psychotherapy using predominantly Jungian and transpersonal approaches, with particular expertise in working with trauma. She provides couples counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and clinical hypnotherapy, each supported by dedicated training qualifications. Her practice also includes breathwork sessions and holotropic breathwork, which she has been delivering since 2019.
In recent years, Elise has developed specialised training in psychedelic integration through The Institute of Psychedelic Therapy (ongoing from 2021), complementing her experiential work with psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and holotropic breathwork. She holds a diploma in counselling supervision (2013) and a certificate in couples counselling (2016), reflecting her commitment to ongoing professional development.
Whether you are seeking support for emotional wellbeing, relationship challenges, specific anxieties, or deeper psychological exploration, Elise brings depth, training, and a thoughtful, informed approach to her work. Her diverse toolkit—spanning traditional talk therapy, somatic and breathwork practices, and contemporary psychedelic integration—means she can tailor her support to your individual needs and preferences.
