About Elgin Counselling

Elgin Counselling provides a safe and confidential space for adults, young people and children to explore and work through a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Working in a person-centred, integrative way, the service tailors care to suit each individual's needs.

The counselling offered includes support for anxiety, depression, bereavement and trauma. This extends to work with various conditions including ADHD, autism and learning difficulties. For clients referred through solicitors for trauma therapy, reports may be requested at the start and end of therapy to support legal proceedings.

With over 15 years of experience working with children and young people, Elgin Counselling provides the warm, empathetic space young people need to feel safe and heard. General counselling sessions are available for those struggling with anxiety, depression, bereavement or feeling overwhelmed, alongside specialist adolescent and teen counselling.

Through counselling, feelings and experiences can be explored and, in time, can lead to a path of self-discovery and positive change. Elgin Counselling is registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
