About Dr Sophie Latham
Dr Sophie Latham is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist offering psychotherapy for children, young people and parents. She works with clients aged 0–25, providing individual counselling sessions, family and systemic therapy, and ADHD coaching tailored to each person's needs.
Dr Latham specialises in supporting children and young people with neurodiversity, particularly autism and ADHD. She also works with a wide range of emotional and behavioural difficulties, including anxiety, depression and trauma. Through parents and family consultation, she helps families understand their child's behaviour and develop more effective ways of relating together.
Beyond direct client work, Dr Latham provides consultation and supervision to professionals who work closely with children and families, drawing on her clinical expertise to support their practice.
A member of both the Association for Child Psychotherapy (ACP) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Dr Latham brings regulated, evidence-based practice to her work. She offers a safe, confidential space for children, young people and families to explore difficulties, build understanding and move towards positive change.
