About Dr Louise Webber
Dr Louise Webber is a Counselling Psychologist and Specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She offers a range of evidence-based talking therapies to individuals aged 16 and over, as well as couples.
Dr Webber's therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours. She also provides Compassion-Focused Therapy, which is particularly helpful for working with feelings of low self-esteem and shame. Through Psychodynamic Therapy, she helps clients recognise unhelpful patterns of behaviour that may be affecting their wellbeing. Dialectical Behaviour Therapy is another tool she uses to help clients learn to accept difficult fluctuating emotions and build practical skills for managing them.
For couples, Dr Webber offers Couples Counselling with a focus on promoting emotional acceptance and enhancing communication between partners. She works with a wide range of problems and takes an individualised approach to each client's needs.
Dr Webber understands that taking the first step to seek help can take courage. She provides a professional, supportive space for clients to explore their concerns and work towards meaningful change.
