About Dr. Joshua Westbury
Dr. Joshua Westbury is a GMC-registered psychiatrist and member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, with specialist registration in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is an Approved Clinician under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007).
Dr. Westbury offers assessment, advice and medical treatment for most childhood mental health issues. His expertise spans anxiety disorders including phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder; depression; attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (using investigations such as Conners-4 and QbCheck); bipolar affective disorder; psychosis; eating disorders; attachment disorders; and complex trauma and personality disorders. He also has particular expertise in the management of autism spectrum disorders and learning disabilities in childhood.
For adults, Dr. Westbury provides private psychiatric assessment, ADHD coaching and assessment, anxiety management, complex trauma and C-PTSD therapy, and schizophrenia and psychosis management. He also offers adolescent and teen counselling and has training in Chinese herbal medicine.
Consultations are available both face-to-face and via video appointment. Electronic prescriptions are issued via Signature Rx. Dr. Westbury is also able to take on a limited number of medicolegal cases, including those related to the Family Court.
