About Dr Astrid Coxon
Dr Astrid Coxon is a chartered psychologist and person-centred counsellor offering open-ended, individual therapy for adults aged 18 and over. She is accredited with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS Acc.) and a member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS).
Dr Coxon specialises in life transitions—including life-changing diagnoses and relationship difficulties—and has extensive experience working with clients who have identified as or been diagnosed as autistic and/or ADHD. She offers one-to-one therapy via face-to-face sessions, telephone, and online (Zoom), making her services accessible across the UK and internationally. Sessions are 50 minutes long.
Prospective clients can arrange a free, no-obligation 15-minute consultation to discuss their needs before committing to ongoing work.
Dr Coxon also provides academic support services, including proofreading and subject-specific feedback on counselling-related writing, drawing on her expertise as both a practitioner and writer.
