About Deborah Orchard
Deborah Orchard is an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience, offering a comprehensive range of talking therapies for individuals, couples, and young people. She is accredited by both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the EMDR Association UK and Ireland.
Deborah specialises in evidence-based therapeutic approaches. She brings 10+ years of experience as an accredited EMDR practitioner, including work with children and young people, and is fully trained in CBT techniques including specialised Trauma-Focused CBT. She offers individual counselling sessions available in person and online, alongside couples counselling delivered in a non-judgemental, impartial environment. Her bereavement and loss work draws on extensive experience within a Community Mental Health Team, and she brings particular expertise to adolescent and teen counselling, supported by training in child psychology and previous work as a school counsellor.
Deborah integrates creative approaches into her practice, recognising that art and creative methods such as sand tray work, writing and drawing can be particularly beneficial for therapeutic progress. She also works with individuals and couples navigating fertility and pregnancy-related concerns.
In addition to client work, Deborah provides clinical supervision for individuals and groups. Sessions are available both in person and online, offering flexible access to therapy tailored to your needs.
