Darren provides both focused, short-term support (6–18 sessions) and deeper, longer-term psychotherapy tailored to your needs. He works with a broad spectrum of concerns including anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, anger management, trauma, eating disorders, addiction, and issues around identity and meaning. For LGBTQIA+ clients, he offers affirmative psychotherapy grounded in genuine acceptance and understanding.

Therapeutic approaches include person-centred, psychodynamic, existential and transactional analysis work, alongside cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based practices, somatic and body-based work, attachment-informed perspectives, and internal family systems (parts work). This integrative toolkit allows Darren to adapt his practice to what works best for you.

Sessions are available face-to-face, online via standard platforms, or by telephone, giving you flexibility in how you access support. Darren is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and appears on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
