About Chris Smason
Chris Smason is an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor and registered social worker who works with individuals, couples, and groups experiencing a range of different issues. Accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and registered with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC), Chris draws upon a range of approaches and theories to tailor support to each client's needs.
Chris offers general counselling sessions alongside specialist support for anxiety, depression, bereavement, and relationship difficulties. Couples counselling is a core service, alongside group therapy for those who benefit from a shared therapeutic space. With an MA certificate in Childhood Bereavement and a Diploma in Counselling Children, Chris also works with young people and adults, bringing particular expertise to grief and loss.
Therapy is available both in-person and virtually via Zoom or FaceTime, making support accessible regardless of location or circumstance.
