About Chiltern Breastfeeding
Chiltern Breastfeeding offers private breastfeeding and bottle-feeding support for difficult baby feeding problems, combining lactation expertise with complementary therapies. The team includes International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) and registered healthcare professionals with specialist training in infant feeding.
Services include breastfeeding and bottle-feeding assessment and advice, tongue-tie assessment and division for babies up to six months, and antenatal support to help parents prepare. The practice also offers combined consultations with a paediatric osteopath, integrating baby cranial osteopathy with feeding support for cases where structural or muscular factors may affect feeding.
Luci Lishman, a lactation consultant and tongue-tie specialist, is a founding member and chair of the Association of Tongue-tie Practitioners and holds CQC registration for surgical procedures. Colette Rix, also an IBCLC, provides home visit support in the local area. Both practitioners are registered members of the Lactation Consultants of Great Britain.
Chiltern Breastfeeding helps families navigate complex feeding challenges with evidence-based guidance and hands-on clinical care, whether you are preparing for birth, establishing feeding, or addressing specific difficulties.
