About Bujinkan Shizen Dojo
Shizen Dojo offers self-defence classes rooted in the Japanese martial art traditions of Dr Masaaki Hatsumi's Bujinkan Dojo. Training encompasses both unarmed and armed techniques using a variety of weapons, alongside practical skills such as breakfall, rolling, and safe falls and escapes.
The dojo takes a holistic approach to martial arts training, integrating self-defence, awareness, and personal development. This means students gain not only practical combat skills but also build confidence and situational awareness that extend beyond the training space.
Shizen Dojo is registered with the British Martial Arts Association (BMABA) as a Lead Instructor and Club, ensuring instruction meets recognised standards within the martial arts community.
