About Belfast Counselling Team
Belfast Counselling Team offers a varied team of counsellors and psychotherapists, each bringing a wide range of therapeutic approaches to support your mental health and wellbeing. The team provides face-to-face and online counselling sessions to help with issues of depression, stress and anxiety, alongside specialist support for couples and trauma-informed work.
Therapeutic approaches include integrative counselling that combines psychodynamic, person-centred and cognitive behavioural methods, as well as art therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, somatic experiencing, gestalt therapy and clinical hypnotherapy. The team also offers Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which provides emotional support and practical skills to help resolve relationship issues. Sessions are available both in person and online, with telephone consultations also available.
All practitioners are accredited members of leading professional bodies including the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and the General Hypnotherapy Register. The team supports both short and long-term therapeutic work, tailored to your individual needs.
