Barnet Osteopathic Practice provides specialist assessment and treatment for a full range of spinal, muscle and joint problems. The practice combines osteopathy with a range of complementary techniques to address pain, mobility and function.
Core treatments include osteopathy, chiropractic spinal manipulation, soft tissue therapy and joint mobilisation techniques designed to improve mobility and range of movement. These are often combined with Western Medical Acupuncture (the practice holds a Certificate in Medical Acupuncture from 2006), electrotherapy, and when needed, prescription of orthotics such as arch supports and special insoles.
The practice also offers traditional acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, alongside specialist services including the Niel Asher Technique for shoulder treatment. Medical and birth trauma therapy is available for those with specific therapeutic needs.
Pregnancy care is a particular strength, with experienced osteopathic treatment available throughout all stages of pregnancy, complemented by pregnancy and postnatal acupuncture where appropriate.
