About Arboretum Counselling
Arboretum Counselling offers talking therapy using solution-focused and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques, alongside specialist trauma treatment through EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). The practice also provides Internal Family Systems Therapy, life coaching for personal development, and support for couples.
Working with children aged 12 and above as well as adults, Arboretum Counselling helps people navigate anxiety, panic, depression, bereavement and loss, and relationship difficulties. The therapist offers both short-term interventions and longer-term support tailored to individual needs. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is incorporated into sessions to support creativity and enhance personal skills.
As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an accredited EMDR practitioner with EMDR UK and Europe, the practice maintains professional standards and evidence-based practice.
