About Angela Gilchrist HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist
Angela Gilchrist is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. She brings extensive clinical experience and a flexible, evidence-based approach to psychological therapy.
Angela employs a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs. She works with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and integrative counselling, alongside EMDR and mindfulness as complementary tools. This breadth of training allows her to adapt her practice to what works best for each person.
Sessions are available both face-to-face and online, offering flexibility for those seeking support. Angela also draws on her experience as a clinical supervisor and her involvement in doctoral training to offer bespoke training and consultancy to professional groups on psychological issues.
