About Amy Wood - Counselling and Psychotherapy
Amy Wood is a BACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist offering individual therapy in a safe, confidential space. She has a particular interest in working with anxiety, depression, bereavement and existential crises, drawing on training in cognitive behavioural therapy and relational trauma work to support clients through periods of emotional difficulty or uncertainty.
Amy works collaboratively with clients, moving away from the traditional therapist-as-expert model towards a more thoughtful, partnership-based approach. She offers general counselling sessions as well as focused therapy for specific concerns, tailoring her work to what each person needs.
Beyond direct client work, Amy is a qualified clinical supervisor and offers thoughtful, collaborative supervision for other counsellors and psychotherapists seeking professional support and development.
Whether you're navigating life transitions, processing loss, managing anxiety, or exploring deeper existential questions, Amy provides a non-judgmental space to work through what matters to you.
