About Alison Pyner
Alison Pyner is a registered nutritionist offering personalised nutrition consultations based on functional medicine principles. She is registered with the CNHC (Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council) and is a member of BANT (British Association of Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine).
Alison provides nutritional therapy initial consultations lasting 90 minutes, followed by two 60-minute follow-up sessions. Her approach uses a wide range of functional medicine tools to assess your individual needs and create tailored nutrition plans.
She works with clients experiencing a broad range of health concerns. These include digestive issues such as IBS, IBD, bloating, constipation, diarrhoea and SIBO; women's health matters including irregular or absent periods, PMS, mood swings, menopause and PCOS; skin conditions like acne, psoriasis and eczema; fatigue and low energy; sleep difficulties including insomnia and frequent waking; and autoimmune conditions, where she takes a functional approach to modulating inflammation. Alison also supports those with musculoskeletal health concerns such as arthritis and osteopenia, as well as fertility, chronic stress, headaches and immunity challenges.
Alison also offers functional medicine consultations, lifestyle medicine consultations and longevity consultations, alongside fertility acupuncture services. She uses a food-first approach to nutrition, recommending supplements only where necessary.
